You meet by video with a General Medicine clinician who already has your full history. They assess what's going on and you leave with a plan — a prescription, labs, a referral, or clear next steps — and your clinician coordinates whatever follows.

A lot — common illnesses, ongoing conditions, medications and refills, lab orders, and referrals. Some things need an in-person exam or a procedure we can't do by video; when that's the case, your clinician tells you plainly and helps you get there.

Yes — General Medicine works alongside your existing primary care doctor, not instead of them. With your consent, we can share your visit notes and records directly with them, so nothing falls through the cracks between the two.

A video visit works for most non-urgent concerns. But chest pain, trouble breathing, signs of a stroke like face drooping or slurred speech, or severe bleeding are emergencies — call 911 or go to the nearest ER.

Often, yes — when it's clinically appropriate. Your clinician can diagnose many conditions, prescribe many medications, and order labs or imaging. Some prescriptions, including certain controlled substances, and some tests need an in-person visit; they'll tell you what they can and can't do.

If your situation calls for a specialist, an exam, or a procedure, your clinician arranges the referral and coordinates it — and because they already know your history, nothing starts from scratch.
