What to know before your cardiac catheterization
If you've already had testing pointing to a heart blood-flow issue, we'll make sure your cardiologist has it before your visit, so they can walk you through what it means right away. If you haven't had that testing yet, we'll help you figure out the right next step to get there first.
Cardiac catheterization guides a thin tube through a blood vessel, usually in your wrist or groin, to check blood flow and pressure in your heart — and can include treatment, like a stent, if needed
