What is Voquezna Triple Pak?

Voquezna Triple Pak is a combination prescription regimen used to eradicate Helicobacter pylori—the bacterial infection responsible for most stomach ulcers and chronic gastritis. It pairs two antibiotics (clarithromycin and amoxicillin) with vonoprazan, a potassium-competitive acid blocker that suppresses stomach acid more powerfully and consistently than traditional proton pump inhibitors. By keeping stomach acid low, vonoprazan creates a better environment for the antibiotics to work. The full course is taken twice daily for 14 days.

Vonoprazan suppresses stomach acid through a faster and more durable mechanism than PPIs, maintaining a higher gastric pH that significantly improves antibiotic stability and effectiveness against H. pylori.

Dual antibiotic eradication

Clarithromycin and amoxicillin attack H. pylori through two different mechanisms simultaneously, reducing the bacteria's ability to develop resistance and increasing the likelihood of complete eradication.
