Immunoglobulins Panel, Serum
Measures levels of key immunoglobulins (IgA, IgG, IgM) in your blood. These proteins are produced by the immune system and help your body fight infections. Abnormal levels may indicate immune deficiencies, chronic infections, or other immune-related conditions.
Includes: CPT 82784
Protein Electrophoresis with Total Protein and Reflex to IFE, Serum
Separates the proteins in your blood into groups to identify abnormal patterns. This test measures total protein and looks for unusual protein bands. If an abnormal band is detected, it may automatically reflex to immunofixation electrophoresis (IFE) for further identification.
Includes: CPT 84155, 84165
IgE
Measures the level of immunoglobulin E (IgE) in your blood. IgE is an antibody associated with allergic responses and certain immune conditions. Elevated levels may be seen with allergies, asthma, parasitic infections, or other immune-related disorders.
Includes: CPT 82785
