What is SOLU-Medrol?

SOLU-Medrol is an injectable corticosteroid containing SOLU-Medrol sodium succinate, used intravenously or intramuscularly for the rapid treatment of severe inflammatory and allergic conditions—including severe asthma attacks, acute allergic reactions, multiple sclerosis exacerbations, spinal cord injury, and severe autoimmune flares. Because it's given by injection, it acts quickly and bypasses the GI tract—making it ideal for acute situations requiring fast, potent anti-inflammatory control. It's the IV/IM counterpart to oral Medrol tablets and is typically used in hospital or clinical settings for short-course intensive treatment.
