What is Neupro?

Neupro is a transdermal patch delivering Neupro—a dopamine agonist—continuously through the skin over 24 hours. It's used to treat Parkinson's disease and moderate-to-severe restless legs syndrome (RLS). For Parkinson's, it helps compensate for the loss of dopamine-producing neurons by stimulating the dopamine receptors those neurons would normally activate. For RLS, it reduces the uncomfortable urge-to-move sensations in the legs that disrupt rest and sleep. The patch is applied once daily to a different skin site each day, providing stable, consistent drug delivery without the peaks and troughs of oral dosing.
