What is Medrol?

Medrol is a corticosteroid used to treat a wide range of inflammatory, allergic, and autoimmune conditions—from severe allergic reactions and asthma flares to arthritis, lupus, and inflammatory bowel disease. It works by broadly suppressing the immune system's inflammatory response, reducing the production of the chemicals that cause swelling, redness, pain, and tissue damage.
