Blood Sugar & Insulin Resistance
Shows how your body is managing blood sugar right now and over the past three months. Fasting insulin catches insulin resistance before A1c or glucose rise. HOMA-IR combines both values into a single resistance score. The same core blood sugar panel as Tier 1 — the deeper value in this tier comes from what surrounds it.
Lipid Panel + ApoB
Adds ApoB to the standard lipid panel — a particle count that tells you how many plaque-forming particles are circulating in your blood. It's a more precise cardiovascular risk marker than LDL-C alone, especially when metabolic strain is elevated. Standard lipid panels can look normal while ApoB is already elevated.
Liver & Kidney Function + GGT
Adds GGT to the liver panel — the most sensitive early marker for fatty liver, and typically the first enzyme to rise before ALT or AST move. Particularly relevant for people with insulin resistance or metabolic syndrome, where fatty liver is a common and underdiagnosed complication.
Inflammation
Low-grade inflammation is a common and underrecognized driver of metabolic dysfunction, insulin resistance, and treatment response. hs-CRP catches chronic inflammation that a standard panel would miss entirely — and gives your clinician an important baseline before and during any weight management program.
Uric Acid
A metabolic strain marker and gout risk indicator. Elevated uric acid is an early signal of cardiometabolic stress — and rapid weight loss on GLP-1 therapy can trigger spikes. This baseline lets you monitor proactively rather than react after symptoms appear.
Iron & Energy
Low ferritin causes significant fatigue and can drag on energy and mood even when a standard blood count looks completely normal. It's common in people with metabolic concerns and frequently missed. This is not the same as anemia — ferritin catches low iron storage earlier.
Thyroid (Extended)
Adds Free T4 to the standard TSH screen. Some people have a normal TSH — meaning the brain signal looks fine — but circulating thyroid hormone is still low. This pattern can persist as fatigue and weight resistance that a TSH-only test would miss entirely.
Complete Blood Count (CBC)
A full blood health baseline. Flags anemia or immune patterns that affect energy and treatment response — especially important if fatigue is part of what you're dealing with.
