What is Cabtreo?

Cabtreo is a prescription topical gel containing three acne-fighting ingredients in a single formulation: benzoyl peroxide, clindamycin, and adapalene. This triple combination addresses acne from three distinct angles—benzoyl peroxide and clindamycin attack the bacteria that trigger inflammatory breakouts, while adapalene normalizes the skin cell turnover that causes pores to clog. By targeting multiple pathways simultaneously in one product, Cabtreo simplifies the acne treatment regimen and delivers combination therapy that is more effective than any single or dual-ingredient treatment. Applied once daily, it's approved for patients 12 and older.

Adapalene normalizes follicular keratinization to prevent pore clogging, clindamycin suppresses C. acnes protein synthesis, and benzoyl peroxide kills bacteria through oxidative action—three independent pathways targeting acne simultaneously in one once-daily application.
