What is Condylox?

Condylox is a topical prescription medication used to treat external genital warts caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). It's a patient-applied treatment, meaning you apply it at home over a series of treatment cycles rather than requiring office procedures. Condylox works by destroying the wart tissue directly, causing it to break down and slough off over time. It's applied twice daily for 3 consecutive days, followed by 4 days off, with cycles repeated as needed under your provider's guidance.

Antimitotic action

Disrupts cell division within wart tissue by interfering with microtubule formation, preventing wart cells from replicating and causing the abnormal tissue to break down and die.

Self-administered treatment

Designed for home application, Condylox gives patients the ability to treat external genital warts on a schedule that fits their life—without repeated clinic visits for each treatment session.

Cycle-based therapy

The 3-days-on, 4-days-off treatment schedule allows skin to recover between applications, balancing effective wart destruction with tolerability of the surrounding healthy tissue.
