To uphold these values, we enforce a Respectful Conduct Policy, which accompanies our Terms of Service agreed to when you sign up to the service. These standards help ensure that everyone can access care in an environment free from discrimination, harassment, or abuse.
Prohibited conduct
The following behaviors are strictly prohibited in any interaction with our team or care providers. These standards apply to all forms of communication, whether written, verbal, implied, or inferred:
- Abuse or harassment: Includes verbal threats, intimidation, or any behavior that causes harm, fear, or distress.
- Discriminatory behavior: Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, or prejudice based on race, gender, religion, age, disability, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic.
- Inappropriate language: Profanity, offensive remarks, or any language meant to belittle, demean, or harm others.
- Hate speech: Promoting or encouraging violence, hatred, or discrimination toward any individual or group.
Our expectations
By using our service, you agree to treat our team and clinicians with respect and professionalism. Violations of this policy may lead to:
- Ending a visit or interaction immediately if a clinician or team member feels harassed, threatened, or unsafe
- A warning for minor infractionss
- Temporary suspension of access to our services
- Permanent termination of your account for severe or repeated violations
Reporting a concern
If you witness or experience behavior that violates this policy, please report it to us at help@generalmedicine.co. We take these reports seriously and review all concerns promptly and thoroughly.
