Poushali Bhattacharjee, MD, MS, FACP, is a board-certified internal medicine physician with over 15 years of experience in hospital medicine, clinical operations, and medical education. As a physician at General Medicine, she leads clinical operations, which means she builds the clinical teams, policies, and partnerships that make care easier to get.

Dr. Bhattacharjee earned her medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch. She then completed her internal medicine training at Boston University/Boston Medical Center.

Since then, she has worked as a hospitalist and instructor in medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital, a research fellow and attending physician at University of Chicago Hospitals, where she received her masters in public health sciences, and a hospitalist and assistant professor at Cook County Health / Rush University Medical Center for more than seven years. Today, Dr. Bhattacharjee applies her background in hospital operations to the way care is delivered at General Medicine. She manages clinical staffing and operational policies, and she builds relationships with direct-to-consumer services so that customers get care quickly from clinicians who already know their story.

In addition to these leadership roles, Dr. Bhattacharjee continues to practice medicine at General Medicine.
