Experience
Kaitlyn began her medical career in 2013 after earning her master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies. From the start, she was drawn to urgent care, where she could treat a wide variety of conditions and serve patients across all age groups. Her work in urgent care has honed her ability to assess and manage a broad range of acute and chronic conditions—everything from respiratory infections and minor injuries to more complex diagnostic challenges.
In addition to urgent care, Kaitlyn has provided care in primary care and orthopedic surgery settings. These roles gave her experience in continuity of care and musculoskeletal medicine, rounding out her clinical perspective and reinforcing her commitment to treating the whole patient, not just their symptoms.
Her work has spanned both in-person and telehealth settings, allowing her to adapt to the evolving landscape of healthcare delivery. She is well-versed in providing efficient, high-quality virtual care, helping patients navigate their health needs remotely without sacrificing clinical accuracy or empathy.
Beyond the exam room, Kaitlyn is deeply involved in medical writing and education. She has contributed to test preparation materials, podcasts, and blog content for leading medical education platforms such as Hippo Education and Rosh Review. Whether she’s explaining clinical concepts to healthcare learners or writing accessible articles for a general audience, Kaitlyn is known for her clear, thoughtful communication style.
At General Medicine, Kaitlyn draws on all of these experiences to write articles that are clinically sound, easy to understand, and genuinely useful to patients and caregivers. Her goal is to bridge the gap between clinical knowledge and everyday decision-making.
